RSC Announces Inaugural Winners of the Justice Rosalie-Silberman-Abella Prize

OTTAWA / April 11 / Meltwater / The Royal Society of Canada (RSC) has awarded the inaugural Justice Rosalie Silberman Abella Prize to a graduating student in 23 law schools in Canada. 

“We are very proud of the inaugural winners of the Justice Rosalie Silberman Abella Prize, who represent the values of equality and equity we need in our country as we move forward,” said RSC President Dr. Jeremy N. McNeil.

RSC Appoints Expert Panel on Wastewater Surveillance for SARS-CoV-2 in Canada

OTTAWA / February 28 / Meltwater / 

The Royal Society of Canada (RSC) has formed an Expert Panel to prepare a Policy Briefing on the applications, limitations and potential of wastewater surveillance for SARS-CoV-2 in Canada. Dr. Steve Hrudey, Professor Emeritus at the University of Alberta, will serve as Chair of the Panel.
